Hello to all. I'm new to this list and thought I would post some information
in the chance that someone might also be working on these families.

James Morris b. abt. 1801. Married Bridget Browne (b. abt 1813) 2/17/1828 in
Castleisland, County Kerry, Ireland. James died 5/25/1866 in Castleisland
and Bridget d. 7/15/1895. James Morris and Bridget had several children who
came to the US and lived in Chicago, IL: Jeffrie b.1852; Nora, Ellen, John,
James, Catherine, Mary, Johanna, Bridget, Thomas, John, Anne, Redmond, and Helen.
James parents may be Redmond Morris and Mary Roche. Bridget Brown's parents
may be Richard Browne & Lucy (last name unknown). These are just guesses on
the names of the parents. I have nothing confirmed.

The other family I am starting my work on is Cornelius Toohey b. 1838 and his
wife Jane Gallagher. That is all the information I have on them. They were
in Chicago by 1860 since they have a daughter born there in 1860. Children of
Cornelius & Jane were Kate, James, Sarah, and John. I have no idea where
Cornelius Toohey and Jane Gallagher were born other than Ireland. Not even sure
if "Toohey" is spelled correctly since I have found 7 different ways to spell
it. Yikes, what a headache!

If anyone might recoginze these families I would appreciate all the help I
can get.
