I am searching for descendants of the children of James Finley and
Margaret Brennan. Margaret was born in Clonbrock, Queens County,
Ireland. James and Margaret were married in Doonane Parish, Queens
County, Ireland, in 1828.
They are known to have had four children: Timothy, born in 1831; and
John, Patrick, and Michael. Timothy emigrated in 1856. He married
Johanna Roach in Wisconsin. In papers filed for getting a Civil War
pension, Timothy said he had three brothers; John, Patrick, and
Michael. I know nothing else about the brothers.
In Ireland the family name was Fennelly.
