Questions:

Winter Vegetable soup calls for rindless streaky bacon - what is that?
What are "lardons"?
What are "haricot" beans?
What would be a good substitute for "Kabanossi" sausage?

I would like to try the soup and want to find something similiar to some of
the ingredients that are not familiar to me.
