I have ordered books from them by phone and e-mail and have received
excellent service. I have also been to their office in Tullamore and they
were very helpful with questions that I posed and the books/maps that they
sell in their office.I think the fee is somewhat typical for services from
all the Heritage/Genealogical centers in Ireland. The US dollar has dropped
so much in comparison with the EURO that it has gotten more expensive for
us. If you have birth/marriage/death dates, and you know where these things
happened, you might want to try the Public Health Boards. Certs cost about 7
EURO (they did a year ago) and they are faster than through Dublin. I
understand the one in Nenagh is on-line now.
