Subject: I am asking a strange question - off subject?

I am reading the book called 'Trinity', and I just want to know if that is an accurate history of all that went on in Ireland in the early, mid and later '80s. I am hoping that Leon Uris researched his subject and it is pretty authentic. So much sadness that I hadn't heard of before.
