I can think of four location possibilities in Leitrim starting with F off
the top of my head, although I don't know anything about any Fergusons. The
places are Fenagh, Fearglass North, Fearglass South, and Farnaught. The
Fergusons sound as if they might be Protestant, but if they were Catholics,
Fenagh is a Catholic parish and Fearglass North and South and Farnaught are
located in Gortletteragh Parish.
