I know virus stuff is not supposed to be on the message boards.
BUT, the high volume of use of the lists is spreading the virus,
So.....here is what you do if you downloaded and tried running the
W32.Badtrans Worm.
Go to Start/Run and put in sysedit.
On the win.ini get rid of run=...inetd.exe so it reads run=
save it.
then Start/Shut Down and restart in MS DOS.
use CD (change directory) to get to Windows directory.
(ie. CD Windows or CD System)
type "erase inet.exe"
go to Windows\System directory
type erase kern32.exe
type erase hksdll.dll
when done type exit and windows will reboot.
