I have used the services of St Ita's in obtaining marriage data. Keep
in mind that the office is staffed by one person who is overworked and
underpaid. While I did obtain what I was looking for it took some
cajoling on my part. You need to supply the date of the event in order
for her to look it up in her reegisters. I wish I had the opportunity
of simply scanning the registers looking for data/events for my family
for which I have no dates.
You are correct, the last number you include in your email are the local
telephone number.

In the Sept 26 posting re the County Registration Office in Limerick:
I
have an address [from the book Going to Ireland, A Genealogical
Researcher's
Guide by Sherry Irvine and Nora Hickey, pub. 1997]
St. Ita's Hospital, Newcastle West, Co Limerick (069) 62545. [I'm
not
sure, but the last numbers may be a telephone number. Does anyone
know?]]
For Limerick City, the address is St. Camillus' Hospital, Limerick.
