I am hoping someone else is connected to Martin KILLMARTIN & Anne
McCORMICK / McCORMACK .

Martin KILLMARTIN was born 1827 c probably in North West Limerick around
the Shanagolden /Kilcolman area .He would have been one of the Monteagle
Estate Immigrants .

His parents were Edmund MARTIN ( NOT KILLMARTIN ! ) & Honora McMAHON .He
immigrated to Australia on 30 May 1850 on the ship " Sir Robert Sale " .

In 1853 he married Anne McCORMACK / McCORMICK at St Francis Catholic
Church in Melbourne .

Martin & Anne had 2 children that I know of Patrick KILLMARTIN who was
born at Richmond - Victoria in 1861 .He died in the same year .The second
child
was Honora KILMARTIN born 1863 in Richmond - Victoria .

I am hoping someone sees a connection or maybe knows some more .BTW - Any
explanations as to Why he would have been KILLMARTIN & All his other
siblings be MARTIN .I know he was in regular friendly contact with all
the family so it could not have been a disagreement .
I guess it maybe could have been the Martin MARTIN bit ? Was does anyone
else think ?
