That's interesting. Perhaps the formerly "only passenger" ferries to
Knightstown from the quay at Reenard Point and/or the one from Caherciveen
have been upgraded to carry vehicles. Of course, it's somewhat of a "red
herring", as one can drive to Valentia over the bridge quite as easily. Sort
of like taking a ferry to Achill Island (however, there are none....I guess
they're happy with the bridge.) I'll have to check-out the possible
Reenard-Knightstown vehicle ferry (if that's the one). It could save a few
minutes, if I happened to hit the ferry at the right time.
