Perhaps Mack, as an ex. supervisor of T.H.U., would would know exactly what
a non-profit organisation means? One that makes a loss? or one that breaks
even, i.e., all earnings, except reserve for equipment maintenance and
expansion are spent? I know that it means a limited non-share capital
company, the intent of which is to make a non- taxed profit . Such
organisations wherever they exist are just tax dodgers. Far better if the
T.H.U., had been granted 'charitable organisation status', but then salaries
and wages would be out of the question ( catch 22!).

Anyway "Mack", we are not discussing the T.H.U., or any other Heritage
centre; we are discussing the policies of the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly
as they relate to not being allowed to view the microfilms at the National
Library, Dublin.
