I have just subscribed to this list and on reading the archives of the list found a message regarding the Piper family, in particular the children of John Piper and Dora Supple whose family went to the US 1860s and John's siblings who went to Canada and Australia. I have tried to contact the writer, Pamela Lenox, without success (email address invalid). My husband is directly related to William Piper who came to Australia in 1841 and I have quite a lot of info on the Australian sides of William and James. If you know of Pamela's whereabouts, could you forward this to her or give me her address.

Other queries I have:

1) Does anyone know of a John Piper who married Frances Long - their first child was born 1799 and the last in 1829 so I am looking for a John Piper born around 1775-1780. The only Pipers I have found on the IGI and in the parish records I have found on line, are either too early or too late. Any ideas?

2) A lot of the Pipers were born or lived at Rein Roe / Ruen Roe/ Reinroe / etc. of Adare. Does anybody have information on this house/estate??
