Way behind on reading my mail, so I apologize for posting this reply so late.

In the 1900 US Census, my great grandparents are listed with birth years 20
years after anything I've seen in other censuses, their obituaries, etc.
Either they were having fun at the census taker's expense or the census taker
made a mistake or made up an answer. I was only able to confirm that the
census record pertained to my great grandparents because in my great
grandmother's obituary in 1905 it referred to her residense at the same
address for over a quarter of a century.
