I am trying to help my friend to trace her family history and am hoping someone on this list may be able to help us a little further.

We are seeking information on a Charles Bateman who was born in Ireland somewhere on 6 April 1844. He married a Jane Barrer 5 October 1869 in Kilflynn Church, Ballyorgan, Limerick, Ireland.
They had at least 6 known children -
1. Charles - born 28 October 1870 in Ballyorgan, Limerick.
2. Mary - born 28 April 1872 in Ballyorgan.
3. Richard - born 9 May 1875 in Ballorgan.
4. Jane - born 3 June 1878 in Ballyorgan.
5. John - born 17 May 1880 in Ballyorgan,
6. William - born 11 October 1882.

Both Charles and his wife Jane died in Australia.
Any help would be appreciated.
