GALLAGHER from the townland of Houndscourt, parish of Glenroe and
Ballyorgan. Thomas and his wife, whose maiden name was Hayes, were born in
the mid 1700's. Their son Thomas married Ellen Treacy of Coolaveha. Both
were born in the late 1800's. Their children included my ggrandfather John
Gallagher who married Ellen Roche of Ballindangan, Cork; Mary Gallagher who
married Tom Caplice; Elizabeth Gallagher who married a McNamara of Darragh;
Michael Gallagher who married Catherine Roche of Ballindangan and who
settled in Old Castletown, Kildorrery, Cork; and Bartholomew Gallagher, who
married Catherine O'Carroll of Castlefarm in the parish of Hospital. I am
looking for descendants of the various families.

LANE: I am also looking for a marriage that must have taken place around the
1830's of a Hannah Roche of Ballindangan, Cork, and John Lane/Leane of
Ballybrien.
I know nothing more about them. Unfortunately they were married before
church records were kept, and perhaps they emigrated.

KENNY: My Kenny family (James Kenney and V. Ann Carroll) lived in Knockadea,
Ballylanders, from the early 1840's until the 1880's when the parents
followed the adult children to the U.S. I am interested in any family who
was associated with them.

HANNIGAN: The oldest Kenny girl, born in 1844, married Thomas Hannigan, son
of John Hannigan and a Gorman. Thomas was from Darragh, and John was from
Kilfinnane. If anyone has Hannigans in the area I would be interested.
