Is anyone researching the Limerick Evans or McManus families who came to
America in the early to mid-18th century?

Going by the genealogical suggestion that neighboring families often
migrated together, I've noticed that these families came down together from
South Carolina in the 1800s through the lower South and then out West.
Going backward, I find them in the same SC town by 1760. Further back, I
find the names together in Limerick C of I churches in the early 1700s. I
wonder if they might have traveled together to America in the first place,
possibly with Pennsylvania as the original destination.

I've been trying with no luck to find the particular plans of my line's
first Blakeney in America. Maybe by linking up with other families, we
might can come up with some mutual information.

While I'm at it, let me just ask to hear from ANYONE whose C of I families
came from Limerick in the early 1700s to America.

Thanks,
Rhonda in Alabama
