When researching for family in Ireland, would it be more beneficial to
search Catholic records (b,d,m) in Dublin, or in individual parish churches?
I want to make the connection between the 1830-1850 first immigrants in
America, and their parents or families in Ireland.

If I have only one day in Dublin for genealogy, how will it be most
profitably spent? We have no records from Ireland, and know only the county
and possibly the area from which the ancestors came.
