Robyn,

The civil parish of Kilfinnane surrounds the town of Kilfinnane, which is
about 5 miles SE of Kilmallock. The civil parish extends about 1 mile to the
west, 2 miles to the north and south, and 2 to 3 miles to the east and northeast
of the town itself.

If you mean the RC parish of Kilfinane (no double "n"), this also includes
the civil parish of Particles - and perhaps the main section of Ardpatrick civil
parish. This would extend the coverage of the RC parish by another 2 miles
to the west, and continue on for 4 or 5 miles to the southwest - into the
Ballyhoura Mountains and all the way to the Cork border.
