Hi Daniel,

I'm an Australian living in Ireland and - like many of my fellow Listers- am
seeking the corrects dates, etc., relating to ancestors, trying to cope with
the ways various cultures express dates and addresses (oh yes, the latter
can vary markedly, too), etc.

The tremendous value of international forums such as these Lists is the
discussions of our experiences, both to seek clarification that we are
interpreting the data correctly, and to learn how other family historians do
things.

I am sad that you have taken the objective discussions so personally, and on
the last day of 2004, too. I'm writing this on the first day of 2005.
Let's be friends hey?

Elaine
(in Ireland)
