I received this reply from Mike Maguire at Limerick City Library in regards to his Trade & Postal Directories database:

The database I have created from trade and street directories is almost
entirely made up of Limerick City data only. The task was mammoth and I had
to set some parameters and, given that this is the City Library I decided to
focus exclusively on the city. Even then the job still took 2 years. Anyway,
the database is available at this address:
