HelloAnita,
Just thought I would put you in the picture. We went to the Latter Day
Saints Family History Rooms at Mortdale to-day which is local for us ,and
just concentrated on the elusive French/Ohallorans and went back to the ship
"China" and the three sisters, and we are fairly confident they are the ones
as they come from Limerick City and the parents are John (deceased) and
Catherine, I noticed it said they could write but on the Marriage
Certificate ,Ellen signed with her mark. I have been trying to trace them
with respective Marriages, Births etc. thats where it is getting a little
tricky. If these are the ONES Bridget and Mary quite possibly married
brothers (Heaney) I think Mary has had a second go as there is a marriage
for a Mary Halloran in 1856 and one in 1869 and Bridget in 1856 they say
they usually marry about 2 Years after arriving. Hope you are having luck
with your family.
Kind regards,
Pam
