Thanks. I'll have a look round Mary NESTOR. Not much information about her
at the moment, other than that I gave. Shall have a look at the family and
see what I can find. I'll get in touch at the weekend

All the best
Rachel.

Subject: [LMK] Mary NESTOR/ships lists

Hi Rachel and Padrig,
First to you Rachel. I have a Mary NESTOR/NESTER, though I know its not
the same one, maybe there is a connection somewhere I cant seem to find
any info on Mary..
My Mary(or Margaret) Nestor married Cornelius Kennelly in Askeaton
Limerick abt 1836 I think, (its not in front of me right now) They had 2
or 3 children, Margaret, Peter and I think a Michael and Thomas.
Margaret married my greatgrandfather Maurice (Mauritti) LANGAN. Do any
of these names fit in with any of your NESTOR's ?
Padrig, Ive looked and looked at ships lists until my eyes are blurry
and cant find any of my family. Im looking for Maurice LANGAN (and
family) came to the USA supposedly via St Lawrence Seaway and settled in
NE, so they had to go somewhere first because the seaway certainly
doesnt end up in Nebraska! LOL.
Now there is an Ellen LANGAN who married JC CARRIG in Canada, that I
have a "hunch" might have been my Maurices sister, her family(The
Carrigs) were some of the first (and most prominent) pioneers in NE.
Im also looking for my FITZSIMMONS & RILEY's. Lawrence FITZSIMMONS came
to the USA from County Meath when he was 16 yrs old about 1846 (maybe a
few yrs off either way). and his wife Bridget (Bedelia) RILEY when she
was an infant, dont know where in Ireland she was from.. daughter of Mary
RILEY, father possibly named Thomas. Both families settled in IL but cant
find them until 1860.
Any ideas where I might look for this information?
Thanks for any suggestions.
