Having been a List Administrator for a Rootsweb List for several years, I
certainly understand what Jane has had to deal with -- with some of the
subscribers.. My solution was to 'block' their e-mail address, so they could
not post to the List without my permission. I was threatened with lawsuits,
etc. ad nauseum... even being reported to Rootsweb, who agreed with my
solution. The same unhappy subscriber went so far as to send a message to
the List (before I blocked her) saying she was sure I had mental problems...
The same List rules should apply to everyone -- especially those who are
pot stirrers. Some of the subscribers' attitudes remind me of 'aggressive
drivers' on the Freeways... scarey.. Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert (kindness
