May I join the MCAULIFFE discussion.....I have a Patrick McCAULIFFE that
married Bridget Collins (formerly Enright)..

I presume Bridget's first husband, Denis, died between 1845 and 1849,
because the 1861 census of Ontario shows that Bridget and Patrick were
married in 1849.

Bridget and Patrick are found in Peel County, Ontario, in 1861 and I don't
know if they met in Ontario, or in Ireland.....

Bridget and Denis Collins' children were born in Abbeyfeale between 1839 and
1845. I am trying to locate their marriage...and even perhaps Bridget's and
Patrick's if they were married in Ireland.

Then in Ontario this couple also had a daughter ELLEN MCCAULIFFE born 1852
in Canada....and thern5 other children: John Bridget, Mary Ann, Michael, and
Elizabeth....

The ONLY clue I have of this family in Ireland are the baptisms of the
Collins in Abbeyfeale...

Just couldn't resist adding my McCAULIFFE line...
