I have just rec'd a document showing me a connection to:
Edwardtown, Co. Longford & am hoping someone can connect, & are hopefully researching, my descendants there:
1 Michael LEARY & Ann FARRELL from Edwardtown, Co. Longford, Ireland
2 Bridget - b ca 1806-1810 - Edwardtown, Co. Longford
+ William CASEY s/o Patrick & Marguerite FEENY
m 1 August 1826 - Notre Dame - Quebec City, Quebec Canada
2 Patrick - b ca 1808 - Edwardtown, Co. Longford
+ Mary(Marie) HICKEY d/o ??
m ca 1825 - ??? Ireland
Three children - Joseph/Margaret/Patrick - all b - ??, Ireland ca 1825 >> 1832.
Patrick was in Canada by 1833 when son Hugh was b.
Am most hopeful that someone can *please* help me to find info re this family as this is the first connection, re locale in Ireland, that I have found in abt 18-20 yrs research.
