Jim,
My records are only for the Soldiers and Officers who died in 1914-1919
Great War. I did however check for Skelly and found 33 soldiers listed -
two from Antrim, 2 from Belfast, 1 from Dublin and one from County Meath -
the remainder where Englishmen and Scotsmen. I also check Skelley only two
were listed 1 English and other other a Scot.
Good luck with your research, should you require any information on the
above names please let me know - I'll be happy to list them for you.
Good luck with your search.
Regards,
Mary Wall

> I'm looking for help in finding the enlistment records of Willam Skelly in
this militia. It says on his land petition records in the Canadian Archives
that he served seven years in this militia. He arrived in Canada in 1805
therefore his enlistment must have been in the late 1700s and early 1800s.
Any help most appreciated. Jim Skelly
