I am new to this list.
I am researching my gr.grandfather, Alexander CHRISTIE, b. 10 Oct 1835, Co. Longford, Ireland.
His father, William Christie, b.??, likely in Co.Longford, Ireland, d.??, Halton Co., Ontario, Canada
His mother, possibly Mary HUGGINS, b. ca 1812, Co. Longford, Ireland, d.??, Halton Co., Ontario.

Alexander's obit in the Hanover Post, Hanover, Ontario, reports Alexander emigrated from Ireland to Halton Co., Ontario, "when quite a lad" and "with his parents". There is no mention of siblings.

As can be seen, there is very little info on Alexander's parents and siblings, if any. This is the info I am seeking. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
