It would be hard to say that Louisburgh is in Co. Sligo when it is
surrounded by Co. Mayo and not even on the border. On the other hand, I
have O'Connors from Cullenagh, Cappamore which is on the border of Co.
Tipperary and Co. Limerick. My ancestors said they were from Co.
Tipperary but the civil records are all in Co. Limerick. When I was
there in July, the parish priest told me that the locals define where
they are from, not the country. So I guess if you say you are from Co.
Sligo, that is where you are from.
