I believe I posted a query regarding the Dromgoole family a year or so ago.
I now have a bit more information, and perhaps some subscriber may have a
connection.

My Dad had traced a family branch of Dromgooles back to James Dromgoole, who
resided in Latchford, Warrington, Cheshire, England and probably died in that
area on 9 April 1823. Dad speculated that James may have emigrated from Co.
Louth (or Meath or Dublin), but he has been unable to make the connection.

I contacted Kathy O'Hagan at the Louth Co. Library, and she came up with a
possible connection (although the records in the late 1700's are few and far
between). These are the entries (possibly a family group), from the Roman
Catholic Clogherhead Parish, Co. Louth records of baptisms:

Peter Dromgool (#03.01399), birth and baptism 27 June 1787
Mary Dromgool (#03.01626), b. and bp. 19 Oct 1791
James Dromgool (#03.01913), b. and bp. 20 July 1795
Mary Dromgool (#03.02129), b. and bp. 07 July 1798

Does anyone out there have any links with any of these folks?
