These records are a bit scattered, to say the least, so bear with me as I
try to sort them out! Thanks to all, re: Bedelia-my ggrandmother was Delia
Davis, She was born in Hackensack, New Jersey. Her parents were from mayo,
so now I am not sure if she was baptised Bridget or Delia? Her DC states
Delia. And, as for Biddy--was that a derogitory name? From what I remember,
'Biddy' was not an endearing name. My father would refer to a woman as
'Biddy' if she was not too pleasant! Janet
