"Aug 11 - Edmond Clarke" should read Edward Thomas Clarke. Sponsors' names
were spelled John BARNICLE and Mary BEGLEY.
Clarke (I have the original baptismal certificate and have seen the actual
register at St Colman's.)

He was my grandfather, and he used his baptismal certificate as his ID when
travelling to and from Ireland. It passed on to me via my father who was
one of his youngest sons. Unfortunately I never knew him, as he died long
before I was born, but it was his baptism record that started my research in
Claremorris.
