Dear Joe,
I will have to churn you info and get back to you --- A friend also informed
me Killasser is the Mayo Parish next to Kilmactigue -- dumb me I was there
and forgot them name, felt like an idiot after she told me (one who helped
when I first started this search).

My Murphys are from where I posted, Stonepark. It is thought on my GM side
is the CARLON and I am hoing to get back to Ireland soon as see a family of
this name in the Kiltimagh area, just heard about it when I was leaving
Ireland and did not have time.

I am thinking about doing research work there in Sligo/Mayo for US based
people searching for ancestral info in the area....tried it "loosely" when I
was there in Oct and had some extra time --- I extended my trip and wanted
to do a bit of work, so I posted to another list offering to work for
others, and one of the first replies was some fool commenting on fraud and
that was it for me, I just finished visiting my relatives and left -- but I
think it is a viable business model based on all the people I recievd emails
from and have run into searching Sligo and Mayo ancestors --- when I first
started out I would of not hesitated to hire someone for a few hundred
bucks, would have saved me a year of deadends !

Will be putting up a website soon to test the waters!
