Jean, order the civil registrations microfilms through
LDS to search for Martin Brogan's wedding entry to
Mary Thornton. With the index information you can
order the civil marriage cert from the General
Register Office http://www.groireland.ie and click on
"apply for cert".

The wedding cert will give you the exact location of
the wedding, the residences of the bride and groom and
each of their father's names.

With Martin Brogan's father's name, order the civil
registrations microfilms indexes for births to search
for Martin Brogan's civil birth entry in 1890 with
that father's name. The civil registrations
microfilms are all in date order. Then you'll see if
there was just one or many Martin Brogan's born during
that year and which one has that father's name. Copy
the index information and order that civil birth cert
from the General Register Office. The civil birth
cert will give you both Martin's parents names and his
exact birth location.

There isn't an online source for Ireland to search for
a birth entry for a Mary Thornton born ca 1890 in
either Loughconn or Foxford.

If John Brogan, son of Martin Brogan and Mary Thornton
Brogan, was born in the 19teens after their 1910
marriage, he would be over 90 today, just as his
brother, Martin Jnr. would be if he was still alive.

Since you don't have Mary Tornton's civil birth cert
either, after you have the civil marriage cert to
confirm her father's name, you can also search the
Index birth microfilms for her birth entry ca 1891
with that father's name. Using the index information
you can then order the civil birth cert to see
specifically where she was born.
