Carol,

It has been a bit quiet... unlike the Louth list the last week or so, where
there has been something of a roll call going on (and I have been lucky
enough to glean some new info in the process).

Maybe this would not be a bad idea next door in Meath?

My Meath interests:

1. Simon OWENS of Julianstown b. c1770
Christina MCGOUGH b. c1775 Dublin?
marr 28 Apr 1796 St Marys Dublin
2. Simon OWENS (in Griffiths Valuation for Julianstown)
2. Edward OWENS b. c1800 Julianstown?
Sarah COULTER b. c1812 Dundalk Louth
marr 24 Feb 1838 Julianstown?
(other children not found yet)

Edward & Sarah were probably married in Julianstown or perhaps in Drogheda,
Louth; the marriage reported in Drogheda Conservative Journal, in any case.
They lived in Louth where most of their children were born, until they
emigrated to Australia in 1862-3.

I'm interested in any other OWENS in Julianstown and environs as I'm finding
it hard to connect various references together.
