The Tyrrells I am researching all settled in Waukegan, Ill. They came in at
NY and lived in Brooklyn, NY. I have sent your info to two other Tyrrell
researchers who know more than I do about family--in the hopes that they can
help you more than I can. They will hopefully contact you. I am currently
going through Passenger Lists of July 1, -July 23th 1850. So far I have
found two Tyrrell families on it
Passenger lists of Vessels arriving at NY 1820-1897 Roll 90 July 1-23,1850
Ship # 672 Esmeralda arrival July 1,1850 from Liverpool, England
Passenger #199 and #200 were:
Thomas Tyrrell 32 M Laborman From England To Ohio
Mary Tyrrell 26 F " "
" "
and
Ship #690
July 3, 1850 Ship EXCELSIOR from Liverpool
Biddy Terrell 20 F Great Britain USA
Wm. 40 M " " "
Cath. 35 F " " "
Mary 16 F " " "
Pat 12 F " " "
Also listed under them is a John Needham 22 M Mach. GB USA
My Edward Tyrrells family also had Needham as Next door Neighbors and I
think there was a connection somehow--haven't figure it out
