If a simple map was drawn up with the route (as far as is known) of our
palatine ancestors marked on it, we could then volunteer for a section that
we would be able to manage. There could be overlap where more than one
person travels along the route (more likely in densely populated areas). I
haven't really thought it through thoroughly but living in England I felt
that the whole event was being dominated by the US and Canadian contingent
(fair enough as most of them ended up there ~ I'm from Canada myself
originally). I see this as an opportunity to publicise the Palatines and
hopefully involve people who are descended but have never heard of them! If
it is publicised as 'An EVENT' it may well interest people who would say
"family history? Boring!"

Ok, I've waffled on long enough someone elses turn.....
