I'm related to two of the three destinations; my mom's line went to Ireland;
my dad's line went to New York Province, fought in the war of 1812 against
the Americans, and then went to Bytown (Ottawa). I only found this out,
when in desperation, I put someone from my dad's line into Yahoo's search
engine, and up pops an issue of the Ottawa Loyalist, telling all about how
he had been a lieutenant in the war, and his sons fought as well. As far as
I know, I don't have any direct descendants that went to Australia. So,
though I primarily focus on the Irish roots (there is actually an Irish
person in my tree, she was disinherited and shunned from her family for
marrying one of those German immigrants), I am interested in the American
side as well.

Take care, Paul Dicks (Switzer, Domage, Sheir, and everyone the Switzers
married (which is almost everyone)
