I need some help here.

I am researching my wife's family history and according to all recollection,
death, and marriage certificates here in the USA her GGGrandfather and his children
were all from a place called Blenin, Co. Sligo, Ireland.

I have searched and searched and cannot locate any reference to a village or anything
called Blenin.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
