I often stay at the Southern Hotel right next to the train station. It is within walking distance of anything in central Sligo, which is not large. A full day at the Heritage Centre? Most of us can't get past the glass window. Better to plan some time in the Sligo Library's research branch on Bridge Street. For civil B, M, and D records you will have to go the Markievicz House. Aswk anyone there for directions.
