Jim,
Many thanks! Just now exploring the "Captain's List" seemingly put
together by Lloyds, but now with the London Guildhall Library. Nothing
online, and looks like a hired researcher is required, but perhaps have to
go this way to find 'em.
I grew up and graduated from Ft Myers HS, class 1962, so know a bit
about Naples, but suspect it has changed beyond all my recognition.
Thought from the book's description, it would possibly have old
anecdotes, such as I got from John Cunningham's book on the port of
Ballyshannon, but possibly, my "Miserable little tub" is not worthy of
mention.
