Hi,
The Case of Francis Doyle vs. Sir Thomas Judkin Fitzgerald has been added to
the IGP County Tipperary website. I have it under Miscellaneous if you are
looking from the front page.

Warning - this is a story that involved the harsh treatment of Mr. Doyle. It
may be disturbing.

The event took place during the Rebellion of 1798.

>>A report of an interesting case, wherein Mr. Francis Doyle of
Carrick-on-Suir, merchant and cloth-manufacturer, was plaintiff, and Sir
Thomas Judkin Fitzgerald, high-sheriff of the county of Tipperary, in the year
1798, was defendant tried and determined at Clonmel spring assizes, Monday,
April 9, 1801, before Lord Avonmore.<<
