I can supply a different spelling but it would help sometimes ( please) if
when requesting details that you do mention the religion and a time
frame.............it does help
Andrew Joseph LYNAN
born 11th Oct 1869 in Gorey Wexford Ireland and among the civil
registrations
to Andrew Lynan and Catherine McGuirk

A Rosa Linnen was born in Athlone Roscommon in 1837

I am searching members of the Wilson family who were Catholic and would have been in Wexford around 1808. Is anyone else searching the Wilson Family
Marian Hassett

Subject: DOYLE 1820'S

Searching for DOYLE connections in the early 1800's. My John Doyle remarked
that he was from Conna Hill near the town of Gorey in Wexford County. He
immigrated to New Orleans pre Civil War, married a Fermanagh girl named Mary
Faulkner in New Orleans. He was a blacksmith in New Orleans. He joined the
Union troops at the end of the first year of the Civil War and served with
the 3rd Mass. Volunteer Cavalry as a blacksmith.

I do not have a birthdate for John Doyle but figure he was born in the
1820's.

Any assistance appreciated. Margaret Miesterfeld
