It was about 5 years ago if that's any consolation :-)

I think the problem is when you're looking through parish registers, that
it's clearly easy to miss the name you're looking for, as I did. I was
convinced there wasn't a single Peter Tobin with a father Michael in the
whole of Wexford, but the database search proved me wrong. You might find
that if they married in 1839 that they come from a parish that the registers
don't go far enough back in. My Clare family only start appearing in parish
registers from the 1850s.

I'm sure something will come up one day!
