No one on either the Co Cavan or Co Fermanagh Rootsweb have been able to help me, so I'm hoping someone here has some thoughts on this.
My Great Grandfather x 3 David Morton was listed in the Tithes Book of 1832 as David Morton and Co leasing 54 acres. I know that a William and Edward Morton were also living there at that time as I have a reference from the Gosford Estate papers listing them, so can anyone tell me or has anyone any thoughts as to why William and Edward are not listed in the Tithe books, just David Morton and Co?
