Dear Cara,

Cathy from Canada's enquiry was very interesting to me as my
grandparents, before their marriage, had come from both places -
grandmother Mary Anne Walsh from Wexford Town, grandfather Daniel
Joseph McCarthy living in Longford ( where he was working, he was born
and raised in county Cork ). Is there a special link between the two
places or is it just coincidence? We have always wondered how on earth
they met.........
