Hello Diane,
This may be of little help, but it may also point you the right
direction. Griffith's Valuation listed only 5 Henry Kehoes in all of
Ireland, 2 in Wexford, 2 in Kilkenny, and 1 in Wicklow. Wexford borders
Wicklow. Kilkenny does not border Wicklow, but it is very close to the west
of Wicklow. The double entries in both Wexford and Kilkenny may be the same
person, so there may have been only three persons by that name in Ireland
at the time of Griffith's Valuation.
The GV reports for Kilkenny dated 1849/50 included:
Henry Esq., Ullard civil parish, Killeen East townland
" " " " " " West "
Wexford, 1853 included:
Henry, St Marys New Ross civil parish, Barrettspark townland
" " " " " " "
Castlemoyle "
Wicklow, 1852/53
Rev. Henry, Calary civil parish, Knockraheen townland.
Although these dates are nearly thirty years after your Henry
emigrated, the GV Henrys may be relatives. You may want to try the Tithe
Applotments for Wicklow which were taken in the 1820s and 1830s. The TAs
were also lists of heads of households for tax purposes. There were about 52
Kehoe GV entries in Wicklow for the surname Kehoe which will not make the
search easy. Hope this is of some help. Regards, Tom O'Hare.

religion is Catholic. They settled farms close together in Bathurst, Upper
Canada. A 1836 census enumerated Peter living with Henry. Michael died in
1833 and three of Henry's children where enumerated on widow Ann's farm in
1851.

possibly Henry's father was John Kehoe.
