Hello Pete, I for one think your knowledge is amazing and even if you
goofed, I am sure that all will be overlooked as both Mullaghmore and
Mullaghroes are very close in spelling. Only wish that I knew as much
about County Cavan as you know about most of Ireland and then perhaps I
could find answers to the questions on my great granparents family.
I am really saying that I appreciate all the help you give on the Wicklow
List and I read your postings avidly as my grandmother came to Australia
from Wicklow as did many of her people and all settled around the same areas
here but although I have seen Griffiths Valuation where they are listed, I
am either too old or not clever enough to sort them all out.
Best wishes, Shirley Parker (whose mother was the daughter of Shannon from
Cavan and Keogh from Wicklow.

Is supposed someone is wondering how a Mullaghmore suddenly appeared in the
middle of my letter re Mullaghroes....... the answer, of course, is I
I am very familiar with Mullaghmore in Co. Sligo, and I was trying to avoid
typing it instead of Mullaghroe. Six out of seven correct isn't bad......
