I can recall going to the Christian Brother school in Greystones in the
1950's with a chap who had 15 brothers and sisters !!"! I was only one of
5.
Another date for you ladies to remember,
The Irish Free State had remained a member of the then-British Commonwealth
after independence until the declaration of a republic on 18 April 1949.
Under the Commonwealth rules at the time, a declaration of a republic
automatically terminated membership of the Commonwealth. Ireland therefore
immediately ceased to be a member and did not subsequently reapply for
membership when the Commonwealth later changed its rules to allow republics
to join the Commonwealth. Ireland joined the United Nations in 1955.

And I 5 and have to really think, their ages not a hope, the date ie month

I gave birth to 7 children and can't tell you what year ANY of them were
born! The date, yes...the year no.
