I am researching a large branch of my family fro the IOW including:-

Benjamin Dennes/Dennis (b. Newport, 1807)

m.(1). Mary Ann Baker probably before 1830
m.(2). Jane Purkis 01/01/1832

Benjamin had 5 children (Mary-Ann,Charles,George,Emily Georgena,Albert).
I believe Mary-Ann married John Drudge.

I think that Jane Purkis from Ryde was one of 11 children of David
Perkis and Nancy Eyers (children born between 1790 and 1809).

Is anyone else researching any of the above names? I have more info.

I also have a photocopy of Nothwood parish marriages of Thomas Cole &
Sarah Ann Spencer? and Richard Meager? and Mary Ann Godsell? on the same
page as a relative's marriage (1831/1832).
