Hi All,

I am still no further forward in the search for G.Grandad H.J.White's
birth, but it had to have happened sometime, somewhere!!!!

Anyway, I have some info which may be useful to someone - I found this
great website and a form to fill in for a search of the marriage witnesses
index - it's one of those where people have all registered the names on the
marriage certificates in the hope that other researchers will contact them
if there is something of interest to their own research. I filled in some
of the names I'm interested in, and back, by e.mail a few hours later came
a list of weddings in which "my" names appeared. from these I've copied
out those at IOW venues which may be of interest to you. They all come
with the address of the person who submitted it in the first place, but
I've left that out - if you want to contact them, just let me know. Most
of them are snail mail addresses, unfortunately!
